Summary:

Rescued by a stranger.
Haunted by a secret
Sometimes, love isn’t easy…

He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior…

The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he’d worked so hard to overcome, and the future she’d put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.

Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth—and find the unexpected power of love.

A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl's struggle to regain the trust she's lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.

My Review:

   Jacqueline and Kenned has been dating since High School. Because of her love for him, she followed him to college. Guess what? After two month he dumped her, and for the most stupid reason. Seriously what an ***! Unfortunately for her she had to face him in her Economic class, which she skipped for two weeks after break up. Now, let's say her grades are big FAIL, skipping a midterm wasn't such a good idea. Her last hope was to get help from a tutor- Landon Maxfield. Whom by the way she never met, and throughout the story he was helping her with her class through Email. Yeah just Email. She started to feel attracted to him, and looking forward to his Emails. His emails are always informative with a hint of flirtation which I loved!  I think I would too be attracted to his brains and sweet talk (;
   After her break up with her boyfriend, her roommate takes Jacqueline to the party. She didn't really feel like parting, you know break up and all, so she leaves the house, alone. When she gets to her car, a guy, that she knew and thought that he would never do something like that, attacks her and tries to rape her. That's when her hero Lucas shows ups and saves her. Jacqueline never noticed Lucas before until after the next day when she sees him in her Economics class.  Of course Jacqueline can't help but feel a pull to him. Lucas has secrets though, and Jacqueline is not ready to trust her heart to someone else, just yet...And Lucas didn't know if he can stay away, because their is still danger after Jacqueline...
   I really liked Jacqueline character, she seems real to me. She had problems. She made mistakes, like most people do. To me, her character was very well developed. I just loved her relationship with sexy Lucas! Lucas is your typical bad boy, you know piercings and  tattoos(; Lets just say Bad Boy Hottie ALERT!;D Lucas was mysterious, and OMG how I love mysteries hot guys! Yummy! He also loved to draw, which I find quit sexy.... I loved the way their relationships progressed. The way Lucas didn't rush things. How sweet but at the same time dangerous he seemed. Oh and let's just say  I couldn't wait to find out all of his secrets(; If you hadn't read this book yet, I would definitely recommend it! Especially If you are a Young Adult fan!

Favorite Quotes:

"So I don't want to you to feel pressured. Or overpowered. But I do, absolutely, want to kiss you right now. Badly." He trailed his finger over my jaw and down my throat, and then into his lap. I stared at him. Finally comprehending that he was waiting for a response, I said, "Okay." ----As he leaned over me, I felt a heightened awareness of every part of my body that touched a part of his--the edge of his hip pressed to mine, his chest sliding against mine, his fingers tracing from wrists to forearms and then framing my face. He held me in place, lips near my ear. When he kissed the sensitive spot, my breath shuddered. "You're so beautiful," he whispered, moving his mouth to mine.

~~~~~
“Choosing to be with you, isn't a difficult decision, Jacqueline...It's easy. Incredibly easy.”
  3. I haven't read any New Adult yet, but of the few that I am trying to decide between as my first, Easy is one of them. I have heard great things about it, and that it is a good transitional between New and Young Adult. Your review makes me pretty certain that this is a good one to start with. Thank you!
